We are a residential care facility located in beautiful La Mesa looking to hire a caregiver for live in 2 days per week + 3/4 days daytime shift, as well as a caregiver for daytime shift 4 days weekly.
Job duties include assisting senior residents with all activities of daily living including personal hygiene and bathing, repositioning, transferring from bed/wheelchair using hoyer lift, preparing meals, housekeeping, activities, administering medication as prescribed, and any other daily tasks that may arise including filling out documentation if necessary.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Verifiable experience in caregiving with the elderly. Residential care facility or skilled nursing facility experience highly preferred.
Must be experienced caring for bed ridden and total assist clients
Must be able to communicate in English
Must be 18 years or older.
Must Clear DOJ/FBI Live Scan Criminal Background Check prior to employment
Must be in good physical health, TB clearance, Physical clearance
Must be able to lift, push, and pull 25+ lbs
