You must also be flexible as sometimes you will have to stay until 3pm or 5pm depending on what time doctor appointments are.
Pay:
$25 per hour regardless of working past an 8hr shift

Job Description:
Assist 81 year old woman who lives in a luxury senior living facility with various activities. Activities include:
Accompanying her to doctor’s appointments and taking notes
Help around the house with:
Laundry (1x a week clothes and bedding)
Sanitization of C-Pap machine (1x a week)
Washing dishes
Fix small items (Glue broken things)
Hang pictures or build Ikea type furniture (As needed
Accompany her to meals at the dining hall
Assist with grocery shopping
Assist with calling the bank, credit card companies, utility companies, etc.
Work closely with East Coast assistant Jennifer Carroll
Assist with keeping her on track with daily activities
Must have some experience with working with people with mental health
Other:
Must be in close contact with her children via WhatsApp with any urgent update
Must take daily Case Notes on google doc that is shared with the family and East Coast assistant, and myself.
Must be patient
Might have to accompany her to the ER or Urgent Care when necessary.
You will not have to stay the entire time if she is admitted to the hospital.
Must have reliable transportation or be able to navigate the public transit system to be able to make your shift on time.
May have to take her and pick her up from the airport when she goes on trips
Must have a valid driver’s license with a generally clean record for the past 2 years. Must provide a clean driving record.
No DUIs
No speeding tickets
You will be able to drive her vehicle during your shift to run errands and take her to appointments.
Will receive an employee credit card to help her purchase things while you’re not with her after 6 months of employment.
About:
Judy Mout is an 81 year old female who resides at Wesley Palms Senior Living Community in Pacific Beach. She has 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren. She is mostly independent and lives in an independent living unit inside of the community. She enjoys music, art, sewing, and shopping. Judy still enjoys driving on her own and going to activities at Wesley Palms and eating in the dining hall. She needs to have daily social activity, so encouraging her to go to activities and socializing is a must. She is very pleasant and easy going. Judy has a big heart and loves to tell stories of her past. She is also liberal and would prefer someone who is also like minded.
