Local Staffing agency is in search of an experienced Finance/HR Manager who will be responsible for applying their business knowledge and human resources skills within the CONSTRUCTION and/or RESTORATION industry. He or she will assist in providing a wide range of AP/AR for the enterprise as well as HR support and advice . The successful candidate will direct all Accounts Payable/Receivable functions and processes. Manage collection activities while ensuring timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintaining accurate records and control reports while facilitating a positive relationship between vendors, personnel and senior management. They will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices.
*Must have CONSTRUCTION and/or RESTORATION experience
*Temporary-to-Permanent Position

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable procedures.
*Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
*Operate 10-key calculators to perform calculations and produce documents.
*Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
*Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
*Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
*Implement and administer employee policies.
*Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues.
*Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
*Offer proactive recruiting assistance.
*Identify ways to improve policies and procedures
*Prepare termination and severance letters
*Train and provide support to HR team members
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
*Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
*3+ years' combined experience in Human Resources, Finance or Accounting in CONSTRUCTION or RESTORATION industry.
*Expertise in HR policies and procedures
*Strong knowledge of hiring processes
*Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
*Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
*Excellent communication skills
*High volume AP/AR processing
