Job Description:
We are currently seeking a hardworking, reliable, and experienced Landscaper to join our team as an assistant manager. You will be responsible for:
- Scheduling and supervising regular maintenance (mowing, pruning, fertilizing, etc.)
- Oversee pest and disease control
- Manage and train landscape staff or maintenance crews
- Prepare and manage budgets for landscape projects and maintenance.
- Order and track inventory of supplies, plants, and equipment.
Basic Landscape Responsibilities:
- Mow, edge, and fertilize lawns
- Install and maintain landscapes, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers
- Lay sod, install mulch, and spread topsoil
- Maintain garden beds and remove weeds
- Install hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, or walkways (if applicable)
- Follow landscape plans and designs
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery and tools
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in supervising
