General Contractor in San Diego is looking for an Assistant Project Manager! You will be working alongside our Senior Project Manager (SPM) in daily operations. Great opportunity for entry or mid level looking to gain leadership experience and grow in the industry.
Duties Include:
-Assist SPM in project planning: develop and manage project concepts, timelines, and budgets from start to finish.
-Ensure that all necessary materials and tools are on site- may consist of picking up/delivering products.
-Assist in communications between clients, laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
-Learn and identify potential project risks and solutions to continue operations.
-Maintain project documentation, including job expenses, punch lists, project notes and updates to all involved team members.
Requirements:
-Construction experience (mandatory), experience as a Lead or Foreman considered an advantage.
-Proficiency in Google Applications (Sheets, Docs, Calendar, etc.) and Project Management software.
-Reliable transportation.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills: clear and concise written and verbal communication.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines to prioritize tasks effectively.
-Leadership skills to problem solve with a willingness to learn.
Spanish speaking is a plus
