Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Preparation: Thoroughly prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces to ensure flawless results.
Inspection & Repair: Inspect vehicles for imperfections, scratches, or dents and perform necessary repairs.
Tool Proficiency: Utilize paint tools and equipment, including spray guns, paint thinner, and primers.
Collaboration: Work closely with the paint team to ensure accurate color matching and application techniques.
Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and customers to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an auto body prepper or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct surface imperfections.
Proficiency in using various prep tools and equipment.
Knowledge of painting techniques, color matching, and surface preparation methods.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively.
