IMMEDIATE OPENING
Looking for a Property Manager/Caretaker(s) to oversee and execute the daily operations and tasks of the property.
Full-time, live-in property caretaker position caring for a 5 acre ranch.
The owners are long term employers who live at the residence on the property throughout the year.
MUST have a general knowledge of basic barn/ranch tasks and horse care. MUST have experience with caring for horses. MUST be able to operate farm equipment and machinery. Team/driving and husbandry experience is a PLUS. You will provide ongoing maintenance, repair, and care of the property as well as feeding and taking care of the horses daily.
You will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
Mowing Lawns
Gardening
Touch-Up Painting
Cleaning/Maintaining Horse Corrals
Feeding/Taking Care of Horses.
Building/Repairing Barn and Buildings on Property
Building/Repairing Fencing
Cleaning Barn
Basic Plumbing and Minor Electrical
Enforce Rules and Regulations
The Caretaker(s) must have horse knowledge and experienced in handyman repair work and lawn/outdoor land maintenance. You will maintain the buildings on the property and will complete these projects yourself. We expect (e.g. electrical, plumbing work). Must have a knowledge of horse care.
Candidate must be a self-starter with great attention to detail. The caretaker must be aware of their limitations and meticulous in their actions to avoid causing larger issues. This property is seeking a long-term caretaker that can step into these tasks and keep the place running. This is a full-time, year round, lifestyle position, not a 9-5 job.
COMPENSATION:
All EXPENSES PAID. Guest house 1 bed 1 full bath, Air Condition, Heating, Washer, Dryer, Microwave, Flats Screen TV, Internet, Hot Plate, Crock Pot, Air Fryer, Dishes, glasses and silverware, pots pans Large Refrigerator, Private Patio with BBQ Provided. To many amenities to list here.
SALARY BASED ON KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLs.
