Position: Automotive Technician
Location: Oceanside, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with Saturdays
Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Compensation: $19/hr (DOE)
Bilingual: A plus
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in the automotive field (body, paint, and mechanical repair) with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
- Problem-solving aptitude and innovative approach to challenges.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
- Familiarity with system capabilities, relevant software, and web-based applications.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Keen attention to detail for identifying small defects in and around vehicles.
### Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Ability to work in varied conditions (indoor and outdoor).
- Competency with computers, including typing and software navigation.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, or move up to 50 lbs when needed.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to interpret information from screens or other mediums.
Working Conditions:
- On-site position.
- Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Automotive experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
