JOB SUMMARY
The Conference Center Attendant I is responsible for setup, breakdown, and cleaning of conference center rooms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Smile, acknowledge, and greet conference center clients and guests
Complete assigned room settings and removal of tables, chairs, and audio-visual equipment as required
Perform routine preventive maintenance of the conference center and equipment
Respond promptly to event setup requests
Complete daily assignments as directed by Conference Center Maintenance Supervisor
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the interior and exterior of the conference center
Use appropriate maintenance equipment as needed and properly maintain and store equipment
Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands – Must be able to do all of the following: lift up to fifty (50) lbs. at a time; move frequently around the property for an extended period of time; push and pull up to one hundred (100) lbs.; bend, stoop, and reach as necessary; engage physical activity over long periods of time; stand for long periods of time; demonstrate trunk strength (abdominal/lower back) and manual dexterity
EXPERIENCE – EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One (1) year of building maintenance experience preferred
One (1) year of conference center setup and breakdown preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Indoor and outdoor exposure
Moderate noise levels
Occasional exposure to potentially toxic or caustic chemicals
Frequent work with machinery
Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Current work shift - however subject to change as workload may require.
Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Friday and Saturday: 3:30pm - midnight

RESUMEN DEL PUESTO
El Auxiliar del Centro de Conferencias I se encarga de armar, desarmar y limpiar las salas del centro de conferencias.
FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES
Sonreír, reconocer y saludar a los clientes del centro de conferencias y a los huéspedes
Realizar los ajustes indicados en las salas y retirar las mesas, sillas y equipos audiovisuales según sea necesario
Realizar el mantenimiento preventivo de rutina del centro de conferencias y de los equipos
Responder rápidamente a las solicitudes de organización de eventos
Completar las tareas diarias según las indicaciones del Supervisor de Mantenimiento del Centro de Conferencias
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the interior and exterior of the conference center
Mantener la limpieza y la seguridad en el interior y exterior del centro de conferencias

EXPERIENCIA - EDUCACIÓN
Se prefiere título de escuela secundaria o equivalente

Se prefiere un (1) año de experiencia en armado y desarmado de centros de conferencia

Exposición al interior y al exterior
Niveles de ruido moderados
Exposición ocasional a sustancias químicas potencialmente tóxicas o cáusticas
Trabajo frecuente con máquinas
Disponibilidad para trabajar turnos flexibles, incluyendo noches, fines de semana y feriados
Turno de trabajo actual; sin embargo, está sujeto a cambios según lo requiera la carga de trabajo.
Miércoles, jueves y domingo: 14:30 - 23:00
Viernes y Sábado: 3:30pm - medianoche
