A Construction Yard Helper is responsible for transporting materials and equipment to construction sites. The Driver is also required to operate and maintain the delivery vehicle in safe and efficient condition.
Responsibilities
Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites
Operate delivery vehicle in safe and efficient manner
Inspect and maintain vehicle to ensure it's in good condition
Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
And other duties as needed
Requirements
Valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Experience driving a commercial vehicle
Familiarity with traffic laws and safety regulations
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment
Basic math and record-keeping skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
