Job description: Warehouse associate needed for sorting, organizing, and processing various types of electronic waste (e-waste) by categorizing items like computers, TVs, phones, and appliances, removing valuable components, properly disposing of hazardous materials, and preparing them for further recycling or resale, all while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining accurate inventory records within a warehouse environment; key responsibilities include manual sorting, data entry, labeling, loading/unloading materials, and operating basic machinery as needed. Availability to work on some Saturdays (we are closed Sunday).
Required skills and qualifications:
Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
Basic hand tool usage
Attention to detail and ability to accurately identify electronic components
Basic computer skills for data entry
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of proper hazardous material handling procedures (preferred)
Forklift operation certification (preferred)
