About the Position:
California Green Recycling, LLC is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Otay Mesa. 1st shift, Monday - Friday (No weekends).
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving: Assist with receiving, inspecting, and preparing outgoing shipments.
Operate Warehouse Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse vehicles and equipment.
Sort Materials: Separate and organize materials based on type, quality, and condition.
Inspect Items: Check materials for defects or contamination and ensure they meet sorting criteria.
Follow Safety Guidelines: Handle all materials safely and according to company procedure
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers to maintain smooth operations.
Maintain Clean Work Environment: Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Requirements:
Basic Math Skills: Able to do simple math, such as adding and subtracting, etc., accurately
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
Equipment Operation: Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary).
Physical Capability: Able to lift, stack, and move items weighing up to 60 lbs.
