Experienced Boatyard Worker Needed!
Koehler Kraft Co. is seeking a full or part-time Boatyard Worker to assist in the hauling and blocking of boats and perform basic maintenance tasks on the vessels.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
-Assisting in hauling and blocking boats using sling and boat stands
-Performing basic boat maintenance and repair tasks such as replacing zincs, thru hulls, fixing props etc.
-Pressure washing, sanding, grinding & bottom painting
-Performing minor facility and boatyard repair tasks
-Assisting with yard organization and clean-up
-Occasional woodworking and wood repair work
Job Requirements:
-Knowledge of Hauling and Blocking of boats using slings and Boat Stands
-Personal tools and PPE
-Basic Boat Repair and Maintenance experience
-Ability to do physical labor and potentially strenuous physical tasks
-Ability to safely climb ladders
-Reliable transportation to and from Shelter Island location
$21 - $35 per Hour (Dependent on Experience)
