We are a fast-growing property services company in San Diego, and we’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team.
As a Day Porter, you’ll be the face of cleanliness and service in high-end residential communities. You’ll help maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests while working with a supportive team that values hard work, professionalism, and leadership development.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, restrooms, gyms, and common areas
Wipe down surfaces, sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash/recycling
Assist with setting up or breaking down spaces for community events
Provide friendly and professional customer service to residents
Qualifications – What We’re Looking for
Previous janitorial, porter, or cleaning experience preferred (but not required)
Prior experience leading teams and/or training staff is a plus
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work– you notice what needs to be cleaned before anyone else does
Ability to work independently and stay on task
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented – people count on you to show up!
Physically able – stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Friendly & professional – great attitude with residents and guests
Availability: 7 days per week (weekends and holidays a plus)
Must have reliable transportation
Growth Opportunity
We are looking for someone who can grow into a Lead Porter role, eventually managing the team on the property and overseeing daily operations.
