Job Overview:

As a Housekeeping Independent Contractor, you will be responsible for providing thorough and efficient cleaning services to residential or commercial properties. This position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills. You will need to provide your own means of transportation.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with Side Chicks Cleaning high quality standards, as well as client preferences and specifications. This includes but is not limited to laundry, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and polishing surfaces.

Supply and Equipment: Side Chicks Cleaning will provide all Cleaning supplies and equipment.

Transportation: Use your own reliable transportation to travel to and from job locations.

Follow Directions: Carefully follow client instructions and adhere to cleaning schedules and checklists.

Independence: Work independently to manage your cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.

Promptness: Arrive at scheduled appointments on time and manage your time effectively to complete tasks within the designated time frame.

Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients to address any specific requests or concerns. Report any issues or challenges to clients promptly.

Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members or contractors when required, especially for larger or more complex cleaning projects.

Requirements:

Experience: Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.

Reliable Transportation: Own a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from job locations.

Attention to Detail: Exhibit a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality cleaning services.

Time Management: Manage your time effectively to meet cleaning schedules and deadlines.

Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

Professionalism: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.

Working Conditions:

This is an independent contractor position, and you will be responsible for managing your own taxes and insurance.

Work hours may vary based on client needs and scheduling.

Some physical effort is required, including lifting and carrying cleaning equipment, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
