Maintains consistent relevant stock of HVAC and electrical inventory parts, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit based on usage and job orders. Supply house experience a bonus.
Costing, purchasing and research of required materials utilizing the current accountability structures in place
All data entry as currently required, logs, inventory’s, smart sheet ETC
Maintains organization and cleanliness of the parts warehouse/ Laydown Yard.
Replenish truck inventory for field staff.
Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
Receive incoming material and distribute accordingly using current structure.
Warranty replacement
Staging of materials with Tech or MGR.
Laydown Yard instruct yard attendant on areas needing attention. Yard must visually acceptable.
Work with subs on usage of DSC laydown yard.
Maintain tool Inventory.
Attend weekly meetings.
Performs other related duties as requested.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year parts experience, in a warehouse environment. You must be self motivated with strong organizational skills, enjoys challenges and working in a fast paced team environment. This position requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reach items that are located both high and low, the use of a ladder is also required. Fork lift certification is a plus and will be needed.
