Positions Available:
Moving Helpers
Compensation:
Base Pay: $17/hour via Direct Deposit.
Bonus Pay: Additional $4/hour for punctuality, dependability, and damage-free service.
Job Requirements:
Possession of a personal vehicle to reach our warehouse located in San Marcos, CA.
Ability to be on-call for last-minute job assignments.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Flexible schedule as job hours can vary based on client reservations.
Guaranteed minimum payment of 3 hours for any job, regardless of shorter completion times.
Eligibility for overtime pay for work exceeding 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Helpers: Engage in packing, moving, and assisting haulers as needed. Requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers, and the stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours.
Haulers: Main responsibilities include loading and operating dump trailers, with occasional assistance in moving tasks.
Drivers: They oversee hauling, packing, and moving services. Their tasks include driving, loading, team management, customer walkthroughs, completing paperwork, and handling payments.
Meeting Times:
Employees convene at So Cal Moving LLC’s warehouse in San Marcos, CA, typically at 9:00 AM, depending on the travel time to the customer’s location. The workday ends upon return to the warehouse and preparation of the moving truck for the next day.
