Marine Mechanic Helper – Full Time
Location: San Diego, CA
Sun Coast Marine Services, Inc. is looking for a Marine Mechanic Helper to join our team at one of the busiest boatyards in San Diego. This is a hands-on role assisting our experienced mechanics with maintenance and repair of marine vessels and equipment. No marine experience required — we will train the right person!
Responsibilities:
-Assist mechanics repairs, and maintenance of boats and systems
-Transport tools, equipment, and parts between the yard and dockside
-Keep work areas organized and follow all safety procedures
-Use company apps for job tracking and documentation
-Support general yard operations as needed
Requirements:
-Valid driver’s license (required)
-Basic hand tools (preferred)
-Mechanically inclined; basic mechanical skills required
-Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in a marine environment
-Able to read, write, and communicate in English
-6+ months experience in mechanical trades (preferred, but not required)
Pay: Based on Experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
