Hello!

My broker friend and I are starting our own property management and cleaning company. We have not yet set up business licenses or insurances, so for now we are just doing cleanings and home organizing, and paying via Venmo.

We do Standard Cleans and Deep Cleans (deep cleans include move out/move in, post-remodel), and Airbnb. We have one Airbnb house in our portfolio right now, and are hoping to add more.

We are looking to hire 2-3 cleaners who will cover jobs in inland North County areas (San Marcos, Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, RS Ranch, Poway, etc). I keep getting requests for these areas but have been denying them because I live in PB and it’s too far for me to travel to often. Cleaners MUST live in this area. This will start out as a trial with each cleaner joining me for at least a couple cleanings. This is to make sure this is a job you would want to do consistently, and to make sure the work is up to company standards. I have ADHD/OCD and am a little crazy when it comes to cleaning lol. I need people who are very detail oriented like me and would notice a crumb/hair/spider web from across the room, not cut corners, and is extremely organized (my spices are alphabetized and clothes hanging in closet are color coordinated). But also keep a steady pace and not be moving too slow since we do charge by the hour. We have only ever received 5 star ratings and we want to keep it that way.

If you decide this is something you want to do consistently and long term, there will be a work contract drafted of the position, and you are to do cleanings ONLY through the company. I will have you fill out an i9 via Quickbooks, and also send an invite for the app Workforce where you can see the schedule and request days off. Once business licenses and insurances are set up, this will be a w2 position with regular payroll run weekly via Quickbooks and taxes will be taken out. No jobs on your own. If found doing cleaning jobs outside the company, you will be terminated and also charged for the costs of supplies, equipment, and marketing.

We are not a cheap cleaning service. So it is VERY important that every client is impressed by our work, and also that the cleaners are extremely reliable. We use strictly only eco-friendly/plant based products (Method, Mighty Mint, Therapy Clean), which we can provide to you. Vacuums need to be either a Shark or Dyson, if you do not own one we can get one for you. You will be given any tools or devices I’ve found to help improve and speed up cleaning process.

We need people who can start ASAP. May start off as only a couple shifts per week since we are new and still growing. Payout will be $30 an hour for Standard Cleans, $35 an hour for Deep Cleans, and any Airbnbs will be 80% of the cleaning fee.

Requirements

Professional cleaning experience OR

Experience in service industry/customer service

High standards for cleaning and organizing

Attention to detail

MUST own a vehicle and speak FLUENT English

Able to work on feet for long hours

RELIABLE I cannot stress enough how important this is. I CANNOT have cleaners partying hard the night before, calling off for headaches, or calling off because they “forgot” they had an appointment. Not showing up for a cleaning shift not only negatively affects the client’s life, it also hurts the company and all other employees. You very well may be costing us a client if you do not show up for a shift or call off without getting other cleaner to fill in. Being unreliable will result in termination

Willing to work weekends

Excellent personal hygiene and be presentable/professional looking for shifts (yes I know you get sweaty while cleaning, I still shower before all shifts and even put my lashes on)

Designated shoes used only for cleaning shifts and kept clean (some clients do ask for shoes to be taken off however)
