Job Overview
The Observer plays a critical role in inspecting items and documenting issues observed at projects. Items of inspection can include balconies, stairs, and other walkable surfaces over 6' from the ground. This position is a physical position that includes carrying and climbing a ladder. It also requires keen observational skills and the ability to understand and assess components of inspection items. The Observer will work closely with the architecture team and upload reports and photos as directed.
Duties
Inspect and document issues observed on balconies, walkways, and other walkable surfaces over 6' from the ground at assigned projects.
Carry and climb a ladder.
Learn/understand the components of inspection items.
Work closely with the architecture team and upload data and reports as directed.
Document site notes and action items and post them in construction software.
Organize site data and notes via mobile devices for reporting use and follow-up.
Attend manufacturer training and develop relationships.
Participate in company training and promote core values.
Skills
Required: Willing/Eager to learn
Preferred: Construction knowledge or onsite experience
Ability to consistently show up with a strong work ethic and solution-oriented mindset.
Carry a ladder and walk in an outside environment while completing other responsibilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
