This is the work you’ll do day-to-day:
Installation and Assembly: Install and assemble structural steel components according to project specifications and blueprints, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Material Handling: Transport and position materials using appropriate equipment. Perform cutting, fabrication, and welding as required
Site Management: Prepare and clean installation sites, maintain equipment, and secure all tools and materials after use
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of installations to ensure adherence to technical and safety standards
Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to ensure efficient project execution and timely resolution of issues
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installation processes, material usage, and time management
Minimum Requirements:
This is a full-time role from 7 am-3:30 pm
Minimum of 1 year in metal works or 3 years in construction-related fields
Driving a company vehicle requires a clean driver's record.
Ability to travel around the county and neighboring counties on occasion
Proficient in using tools and equipment necessary for installing structural and miscellaneous steel
Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy machinery safely
Preferred Experience:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
Proficiency in welding, with an understanding of different techniques and safety procedures
Proficiency in Spanish to facilitate communication within diverse teams
Experience in measuring, fabrication, and layout for precise installation
Welding certifications or any other relevant technical certifications
