Local Property Management Company seeking experienced Full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician/Landscaper for multiple properties in the San Diego and South Bay area. Candidate must be flexible and knowledgeable in all areas of apartment maintenance.
-MUST have knowledge in all facets of apartment turnovers/make ready
-MUST have knowledge and skills in all facets of apartment, home and commercial building maintenance and repairs; to include but not limited to plumbing, appliance, carpentry and electrical repairs. Knowledge of cast iron plumbing repairs is a plus.
-Must have knowledge in all aspects of, but not limited to basic lawn, shrubs and irrigation care and maintenance.
-MUST provide own tools for work.
-MUST be able to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, sit, and kneel for extended periods of time.
-MUST have reliable transportation during the duration of employment. A truck with a bed, or similar is highly preferred as transportation of materials and or other equipment will sometimes be required.
-MUST have and maintain a valid state driver's license, vehicle registration and insurance during the duration of employment.
-MUST be reliable, self-starter, good problem solver, have good communication skills and work ethics.
-MUST be able to work well with others, communicate and coordinate with other staff members, Managers and vendors
-Must be knowledgeable in safety regulations.
-MUST be able to maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used and time spent on each project.
-MUST be flexible as there will be an occasional need to work outside of normal work schedule, work location and work performed.
-MUST have the ability to speak, read and write english (fluently)
-MUST pass credit and pre-employment background check
