American Marble has been a leader in Southern California for over 35 years, specializing in high-end commercial and residential projects. We provide top-tier fabrication and installation of natural stone, quartz, quartzite, and solid surface countertops. We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Warehouse Freight Staff member to join our Freight Department.
Responsibilities:
Safely load and unload granite, stone, and quartz slabs from trucks and containers.
Pull slabs from warehouse racks and move to designated loading areas using cranes.
Verify quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing orders.
Pack and load delivery frames with jobs scheduled for delivery.
Offload slab deliveries; label materials with job numbers and record storage locations.
Consolidate slabs on inside racks to maximize storage and safety.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
Complete daily forklift inspections.
Assist with inventory of slab racks and remnants.
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse, including clearing shop entrances, carts, trash, and hoppers.
Deliver and pick up materials as assigned, moving company trucks as needed.
Support company goals, policies, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability.
Commitment to safety and quality customer service.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. daily and perform labor-intensive tasks.
Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required).
Prior warehouse, freight handling, or forklift experience preferred, but not required.
Pay and Benefits:
DOE – Depending on Experience
Monday – Friday, full-time schedule
