Job description
Responsibilities:
- Organization and stocking of material and tools at shop
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods, tools and equiptment from the shop or supply houses to designated locations
- Load and unload goods
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Verify the contents of each delivery against shipping documents and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience with plumbing material preferred
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $22.50 per hour
