We are creating a Co-Housing community in Logan Heights San Diego.
We are looking for legal expertise/advice to establish the right legal structure for the community. The notion is that the land is held cooperatively, and the homes are owned or rented. The legal structure can be mix of elements. The cooperative land to be held in a coop, (land) trust or similar legal structure. Another factor is the ability for homes to be privately owned. Rental homes are likely to be owned by the coop or trust. The legal entity should also describe legal/financial rights and responsibilities.
