We are looking to add another experienced litigation paralegal to our North San Diego team located in Carlsbad. You must have a minimum of at least two years plus (2+) of proven paralegal experience working in a California litigation law environment. Our work/life balance firm primarily defends large corporate companies to small family businesses in civil litigation, including premises liability, construction defect, wrongful death and property cases.
Skills and Abilities:
A minimum of 2 years experience working as a paralegal in California is required.
Must be certified.
Experience with Insurance defense and Construction law is a plus but not required.
Trial preparation, litigation maintenance, document management, calendaring, etc.
Exceptional organizational, computer and technical skills.
Have a strong work ethic.
Must possess strong grammar, spelling and editing skills.
Experience with filing procedures.
Must possess a positive attitude.
Must be organized to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills.
Experience conducting investigations and legal research.
Must be proficient with drafting of discovery requests and responses, correspondence and pleadings.
Must be knowledgeable and experienced with depositions and interrogatories.
