Research Analyst

Robbins LLP is seeking a full-time Research Analyst to conduct company, financial, media, court, government source and commercial database research and analyze findings to assist in the consideration of legal claims made by the firm's attorneys. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Compile and analyze data from a variety of databases, including Bloomberg, LexisNexis, and BamSEC

Analyze company financial statements and SEC filings

Present findings in memorandums, tables, charts, and graphs

Continually monitor news and SEC filings for assigned cases

Retrieve court filings using Bloomberg Law and PACER databases

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office with extensive knowledge of Excel

Familiarity with the internet research and internet news websites

Analytical skills

Attention to detail

Interpersonal skills

Oral and written communication skills

Ability to work well both independently and on a team

Time management skills

Proactive

Flexibility to work overtime

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree required

Experience or interest in accounting, finance, and/or economics is preferred; all majors and backgrounds are considered

Previous experience in a legal and/or financial firm strongly preferred
