Hello,
I’m urgently seeking a California-licensed attorney with strong experience in trust and estate law — especially those familiar with discretionary and GST trusts and fiduciary duty standards.
This is a real, active case involving:
- Trustee delays and obstruction
- Excessive document demands not required by the trust
- Denials of time-sensitive, HEMS-aligned support
- A trustee heavily deferring to outside legal counsel
- Evidence of possible bad-faith conduct
I’m the sole beneficiary of the trust and have already consulted more than 70 attorneys. What I need is someone who:
- Can start immediately
- Is a zealous advocate who isn’t afraid to push back on a trustee or their attorney
- Reads the document (and beyond surface level), understands nuance, and doesn’t default to "Well, it’s discretionary"
- Is detail-oriented, responsive, and capable of standing up for beneficiary rights
- Understands this is about proper administration — not conflict for its own sake
- Will be honest about strategy and willing to build a long-term relationship if there's a fit
- No passive analysis.
- Strong understanding of the relivent laws and fiducary obligations/ethics
- Creative, solution-driven strategy (amicable negotation prefered, court intervention if needed)
- Someone willing to work with different payment arrangements (although payment arrangements fair to both you and me).
This matter has become urgent. I am not looking for someone who will stall, hedge, or offer passive advice. I need someone ready to act.
