Job Description:
We are a machine shop located in the Miramar area searching for the right candidate to join our team. If you are an independent and self-motivated person who can program, set-up and operate Haas Mills, please apply. This is a full-time position. Hours are flexible Monday through Thursday (4 ten-hour days). Overtime as needed. Pay depends on experience. We offer medical, paid holidays and vacation to our employees.
Responsibilities Include:
Ability to program, setup and operate Haas Mill with minimal supervision.
Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings/CAD Files.
Set-up of 3rd axis mills including calibration of cutting tools and location of work offsets for single and multiple part production.
Verification of CNC programs AND operation of mills.
Program using Mastercam software.
Cleanliness of the work area and proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent damage or loss is essential.
Good knowledge of G & M codes.
Ability to follow through with written and verbal work instructions.
Must have minimum 5 years recent experience.
Must be able to communicate, read and write in English.
Candidate must be reliable and dependable.
