We are a golf cart dealer located in Escondido looking for a Full-time golf cart assembler!
JOB ENTAILS
Assembling of cart’s canopy; lights; other accessories; Tire mounting; light cart body polishing; driving carts around property; tightening screws, nuts, bolts; general custodial duties; other duties as assigned. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling products to meet quality standards and production schedules.
These are the job requirements and abilities needed:
1. Have a mechanical background (worked on yours or other’s autos, trucks, ATVs)
2. Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, kneel.
3. Ability to reach in all directions.
4. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
5. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing facility or warehouse.
7. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
8. Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues as they arise.
9. Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours per day
10. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 75 lbs.
11. Maturity and sense of responsibility
12. Follows established departmental policies, and objectives, continuous improvement objectives, and safety, standards
13. Assume additional duties as assigned by supervisor
14. Ability to perform all the essential functions, skills, and specifications of the position
15. Good attitude with co-workers and customers
16. Solid work ethic
17. Be a team player, willing to help other mechanics and office personnel
18. Must be willing to take drug and alcohol tests.
19. Must be reliable and have dependable transportation
20. Tools- owning basic automotive repair tools a bonus
21. We will train someone with interest and mechanical skills
22. Pay increases after 90 days.
