Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Production Workers to join our team in Oceanside. This role requires working in a cold room, and employees must bring their own cold gear. You will be responsible for maintaining department functions by handling products, labeling, picking materials, and ensuring product quality through inspections.
Shifts Available:
1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
2nd Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
3rd Shift: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
Wednesday - Sunday
(Overtime available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading machines.
- Ensuring bottles are positioned correctly on the conveyor belt.
- Operating the dumper.
- Preparing and assembling boxes.
- Supplying fiber and packaging materials to the production lines.
- Loading caps and maintaining packaging operations.
- Assisting with general labor tasks in the bottling process.
- Supporting shipping, pack-out, receiving, inventory, and other related tasks.
- Building pallets and lifting, moving, and stacking cases up to 50 lbs.
- Ensuring consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Comfortability working in wet refrigerated manufacturing facility with temperatures below 40°F (coats, hand warmers, etc will be needed)
Work Environment:
- The environment may be wet or dry, with temperatures as low as 35°F (similar to a Costco cold room).
- You will work in a wet refrigerated manufacturing facility with temperatures below 40°F.
- Tasks may occasionally take place in a dry warehouse environment with temperatures up to 85°F and/or exposure to freezer warehouse conditions at –10°F.
- Work areas can be tight, and you may experience continuous exposure to noisy environments exceeding 85 dBA.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous general production experience, preferably in packaging, bottling, or related fields.
- Ability to operate filling machines.
- At least 1 year of production experience.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs (most tasks involve regular lifting of up to 10 lbs).
- Must bring your own cold gear to work, as this position is in a cold room environment.
- Basic proficiency in English.
