1st shift Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator

1st shift position 6:00 AM until 2:30 PM
Our long established and growing company is looking to fill Machine Operator positions for operating and packaging plastic parts created in our fast moving Injection Mold shop here in Poway.
The right applicant will enjoy a challenging position helping our company produce premium products of varying types while achieving high levels of accuracy and quality.
Your new job will involve attention to detail, accuracy and a strong commitment to creating quality.
You'll operate various injection mold production equipment (we will train - but experience is a huge plus), perform inspection work under microscopes and similar tools and support other operations within our shop.
Your ability to listen and follow procedures, inspection instructions, and your ability to demonstrate that, will make you a standout candidate.
We require the candidate to demonstrate…
Ability to communicate in English.
Demonstrate basic math skills.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
Some parts of the job require standing for extended periods of time.
An ability to demonstrate sharp visual skills for visual and dimensional inspections
Ability to work independently while following specific instructions.
Consistent attendance, timeliness and being a 'team player' - without question, is a requirement.
