Job Description
The Production Technician is responsible for a wide range of manufacturing tasks and maintaining records in accordance with current SOPs and cGMPs. This person will work closely with a Sr. Production Technician primarily in the Manufacturing area. We are seeking a team-oriented individual to join the Manufacturing Team.
Responsibilities
Perform assigned tasks and experiments with guidance from a Supervisor, Senior Production
Technician or written/verbal protocols, attention to detail is a must.
Complete and/or assist in routine set up, take down, and documentation required for manufacturing requests.
Execute work/rework activities to meet weekly demand. Manufacture cartridge sub-assemblies (10-100 per week) and prep materials for shipment to suppliers.
Properly document and report experimental data within databases, forms, and other formats.
Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of work performed. Communicate any issues or
deviations that occur during the manufacturing processes in a timely manner.
Promote working in a safe and healthy environment, following all PPE and EHS requirements
without exception.
Ensure compliance of finished goods through quality control procedures.
Work with Senior Production Technician or Supervisor to address non-conforming materials.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
High School Diploma required, AS or technical degree preferred with 2+ years industry experience in
life sciences, mechanical workshop, physical test laboratory, medical or precision industry
manufacturing.
Ability to carefully execute experiments and reliably generate high-quality data according to
specified protocols.
Experience including testing, verification activities, completing and reviewing documentation
following all GDP guidelines, and product handling/packaging.
Proactive approach in effectively communicating issues/safety hazards/process improvements as they arise.
Good verbal and written communication skills a must, and strong organizational skills.
