Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Office Assistant to join our team. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and requires a candidate with experience in purchasing, customer service, and kitting. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling various tasks and providing support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Buyer Experience:

o Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing and ordering supplies.

o Review Engineering drawings and part specifications, maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts.

o Track delivery and perform follow-up as necessary, to meet objectives and ensure supplier quality.

o Track RMA and Corrective action responses from suppliers.

o Track and manage inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment.

Customer Service:

o Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone in a professional and timely manner.

o Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues effectively.

o Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Kitting:

o Assemble kits according to specified instructions.

o Ensure all components are included and meet quality standards.

o Organize and maintain kitting area for efficiency.

General Office Tasks:

o Perform various administrative duties as assigned.

o Assist with data entry, filing, and document management.

o Support team members with ad-hoc projects and tasks.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a buyer or purchasing role.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle emails and phone calls professionally.

Experience with kitting or assembly tasks.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
