Qualifications
-Keeping a safe environment, watch your surroundings
- Can lift 50 pounds and have a demonstrated that you can safely install materials with carpentry and power tools in a noise, sawdust filled workspace
-ability to bend, stoop, reach and/or kneel while working in confined spaces
- enjoys integrating into a busy team of skilled carpenters, working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities
-Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment safely and efficiently
-1+ Experience in wood working
-Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
-Demonstrated organization, problem solving and common-sense skills
-Full-time position 40hours a week
-Reliable transportation to job
RESPONSIBILITY
-Read blueprints and drawing fully understand project requirements
-take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
-cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
-Build cabinet frames, doors, cabinets, shelves and etc.
-Install fixtures and fittings
-maintain tools and equipment
-Maintains a positive attitude and communicates effectively
- responsible for assisting the woodworkers with product construction, which includes screwing, sanding, leveling, assembling, staining, painting, finishing and packaging.
- appropriate use of power tools such as drills, impacts, drill press and power sanders
