Looking for a Reliable Full Time or Part Time Office Assistant
RIGWORKS is the only full service sailboat rigging shop in San Diego and takes pride in their exceptional workmanship and service. RIGWORKS has been supporting committed sailors and cruisers worldwide for over two decades. We have an extensive store front with an unmatched combination of hardware selection and product knowledge. We are seeking a new member to become a valuable asset to our team by assisting with general office tasks. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Some experience around sailboats and basic knowledge of their systems, as well as a passion to learn more to become an integral asset to Rigworks
Must learn new tasks quickly, take initiative and have a trainable personality
Proficient computer knowledge, specifically in QuickBooks/Word/Excel/Outlook
Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person
Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy and organization
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent & effective oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Self-Motivated, reliable team player with great work ethic
Professional attitude & reliability
Ability to interact with employees, vendors, and customers in a courteous and professional manner
JOB DUTIES
Answering / screening phone calls, taking messages
Responding to email inquiries
Assisting in store customers or directing them to appropriate team member
Shipping and receiving orders
Ordering and stocking parts
Filing, copying, scanning and emailing documents
Data entry for online store
Updating and maintaining company website and social media pages
EDUCATION
High School Diploma Required
LOCATION
Shelter Island, San Diego
