Catering Sales Coordinator

This role involves direct client communication, proposal preparation, event logistics coordination, and administrative support to ensure seamless service from inquiry to event completion.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and customer-focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must have the ability to prioritize workload in a demanding environment of constantly changing priorities, with frequent interruptions.

POSITION REQUIRMENTS:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience/prefer food and beverage experience/ venue coordination, generating BEO’s, event planning and/or customer service experience. Catering experience preferred.

-Excellence in customer service.

-Precise attention to details, pressure tolerance, organizational skills and a strong desire to take initiative.

-Concise communication with co-workers, vendors, and clients.

-Answer the phone by the 2nd ring with a welcoming attitude

- Working organizational skills, including skill in effectively coordinating and organizing multiple details.

-Proven ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally, including effective listening skills.

-Ability to write clearly, concise, and logical notes, emails, and contracts.

-Ability to proofread and correct spelling before sending correspondence to clients

-Skilled with computers and basic Microsoft Office programs

-Obtain an RBS certification and food handlers card.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person with a friendly attitude

-Meeting with clients for consultations, menu tastings and event planning

-Maintain a professional attitude at all times

-Typing sales contracts and data entry

-Performing clerical and administrative for the owner and support staff

-Light warehouse work; folding napkins, inventory, cleaning, organization

-Perform other duties as assigned with a positive attitude

SCHEDULE

This is an hourly, in person position. Schedule will vary during the week and Saturday. Nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays are an industry expectation and a requirement for employment. This is not a remote position and is fully in person. Schedule varies, based on event calendar.
