The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years experience working in the construction industry, have a positive attitude and who is enthusiastic about learning new things! The hours are flexible and this can be a full or part time position depending on the candidate and their experience.
Responsibilities:
Processing bi-weekly payroll for field and office employees
Managing and tracking accounts receivable
Assisting with general bookkeeping tasks
Communicating with project managers, vendors, and clients as needed
Maintaining accurate payroll and AR records in our accounting software
Qualifications:
Experience with payroll processing and accounts receivable. Our installers work on public works projects, so a general
knowledge of CA public works labor laws and PREVAILING WAGE is a huge plus
Experience using Foundation, Sage or other construction software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction industry environment
Prior experience in construction or subcontracting is a plus but not required
