COD Customer Service

We are currently recruiting for a Move Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating moves performed for Republic Moving & Storage for C.O.D. customers. The candidate will monitor moves maintaining direct contact with customers from the initiation of the order to its successful completion at the time of delivery and ensuring each customer is highly satisfied with their moving experience.

Responsibilities

Receives orders from account representatives and potential prospects.

Makes initial contact with each customer to introduce Republic relocation management program, review moving policy, and explain pre-move survey process.

Receives information from origin agent and/or works with destination agent.

Assembles information for registration.

Discuss pre-move survey results and establish moving plan with customer (pack, load and delivery dates).

Updates registrations with any changes after the initial registration is complete.

Call customer on pack day, load day, and delivery day to ensure customer satisfaction.

Check ETA’ and set up any required destination services.

After delivery, follows up with customer and originate claim alert, if necessary.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

1-2 years’ customer service experience required.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Professional demeanor.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
