Outstanding manufacturing company seeks Customer Order Specialist to join outstanding team! With guidance from the Customer Order Team Lead, this role is responsible for providing the highest level of data entry accuracy for customer orders. This includes processing customer orders, making decisions on document interpretation, entering accurate information, building an in-depth knowledge of our product, processing return authorizations orders, and meeting performance and service level goals outlined by the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Purchase Order Processing:
● Accurately process customer orders into ERP system, verifying pricing, confirming part numbers, and evaluating stock availability to support on-time delivery.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within CRM and ERP systems, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
● Enter replacement orders as necessary as a disposition to quality issues and returns.
● Efficiently process customer orders to support team workloads
● Actively engage in learning and understanding company products, processes and services.
● Generate documentation for orders as needed.
Sales/Manufacturing Interaction:
● Serve as intermediary between the Sales team and Manufacturing to ensure customer change requests and requirements are fully understood and communicated effectively.
● Relay any issues or items regarding orders from Manufacturing back to Sales and/or the customer for resolution.
● Coordinate with the Product Team to ensure all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
● Use quality documenting tools to record instances of non-conformance.
