Trucking Company in Otay Mesa with 38 years in the industry is searching for a dispatcher to become part of our team. Dispatcher will coordinate with cross border, California and out of state drivers, and loads. Immediate hiring.
Requirements:
Bilingual – Spoken and Written
Experience in the field more 2 years.
Available to work from 8am to 5pm M-F, 40 hours- full time- some Saturdays if required.
High School Diploma or higher
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Must have proper documentation to work in the US
Able to work well with drivers and customers
Be able to handle an influx of calls and problems. Stay organized and prioritize the order of calls
Maintain fair and equitable distribution of work for drivers
Maintain driver relations
Monitor drivers through GPS and E-Logs
COMPETENCIES:
Able to resolve problems in a timely, professional and efficient manner
Self-sufficient, able to work with limited supervision
Able to work in team environment in high pressure situations
Organized, multi-tasker and able to work in high-paced environment
Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
