1. Senior Accounting/Finance Specialist
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced accounting/finance professional to manage the financial aspects of over 30 concurrent projects. This role requires detailed financial tracking, ensuring that payments, expenses, and overall profit and loss (P&L) are accurately monitored for each project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple bank accounts, making transfers, and ensuring that all financial activities align with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor financial transactions across over 30 active construction projects.
Create and maintain detailed P&L sheets for each project.
Track and report on project expenses, payments, and income.
Administer company bank accounts, including making transfers and managing cash flow.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial records are aligned with project timelines.
Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and construction industry standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in construction finance or a related field.
Strong understanding of P&L management, bank account administration, and project-based accounting.
Proficient in financial software and Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Compensation:
Up to $40 per hour, based on experience.
2. Front Desk Administrator / Executive Assistant
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Administrator / Executive Assistant to support the company’s General Contractor and executive team. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations, including scheduling, phone and email communication, and assisting with project-related tasks, such as acquiring permits from the City of San Diego. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be highly organized, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the owner’s daily schedule, ensuring all meetings and appointments are organized.
Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications.
Assist the General Contractor with daily tasks, including the preparation and submission of permits.
Maintain organization in the front office, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Track and organize project-related documents and communications.
Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth project operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
Knowledge of city permitting processes, especially in San Diego.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
Compensation:
Up to $40 per hour, based on experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM
