Position Overview:
DMS seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Office Assistant to join our team. The role is based in our centrally located Mission Valley office and offers flexible working hours between 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The position involves a variety of responsibilities, providing an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Administrative Support: Provide general office support, including handling phone calls, emails, and routine correspondence.
● Data Entry & Management: Assist with data entry tasks, including updating project records and maintaining accurate information in Excel.
● Document Preparation: Help prepare and organize reports, documentation, and other materials as needed.
● Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients and team members, addressing inquiries and providing assistance.
● Scheduling & Coordination: Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating inspections, and managing project-related calendars.
● Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support various departments and ensure smooth office operations.
Required Qualifications:
● Math & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong numerical aptitude and the ability to resolve issues effectively.
● Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
● Excel Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
● Office Experience: Prior experience in an office setting is preferred.
