Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for to join our Oceanside team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the daily upkeep and maintenance of the apartment community. Knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, painting, unit turnovers, appliance repair, electrical, lock replacement, drywall repair and carpentry.
Qualifications:
-Experience in apartment maintenance. OSHA compliance and safety standards
-Understanding of building materials and proper handling of hand and power tools
-Must be able to work with residents, vendors, management and co-workers
-Ensure all work is done in a timely manner and follow up
-Responsible for the physical upkeep of the property including janitorial duties
-Routine cleaning of the premises
-Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
-Ability to read and write. Be able to interpret work orders, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions
-Must have reliable transportation, valid CA drivers license and insurance.
-Must be available for on-call services after hours and weekends
-All other maintenance issues as may be required.
COMPENSATION: Hourly wage based on ability and experience.
