Escrow Officer Job Summary
Pacific Commerce Escrow Services, Inc., an Independent Escrow Company is looking for an Escrow Officer to join our team. You will open, fund, balance and close escrow files as well as coordinate with sellers, buyers, lenders, and realtors throughout the closing process. Your specific duties will include preparing documents, clearing titles, ordering beneficiary statements, and disbursing funds for property expenses. You must also determine what legal deeds are needed to complete a transaction and ensure that all parties have properly signed and filed the necessary closing documents.
Escrow Officer Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare escrow opening and closing documents
· Clear titles
· Order beneficiary statements and payoff demands
· Manage disbursements
· Determine what type of legal deed is necessary for the transaction, then ensure its executed completely
· Coordinate with sellers, buyers, lenders, and realtors
· Ensure regulatory compliance
Escrow Officer Requirements and Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED (required)
· Five or more years of experience as an escrow officer (required)
· Organizational skills
· Customer service skills
· Attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
