We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Leasing Agent to join a well-maintained 55+ active adult apartment community located in the Poway area. This role is ideal for someone with prior leasing experience, especially within senior or 55+ communities, who enjoys building relationships and helping residents find the right home.
Pay: $25+ per hour (depending on experience)
Potential for additional incentives based on performance.
Position Overview:
This community offers studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments and a welcoming lifestyle environment designed specifically for active adults 55 and over. The Leasing Agent plays a key role in providing a high-touch, professional leasing experience aligned with the needs of mature residents.
Responsibilities Include:
Greeting and touring prospective residents
Explaining floor plans, amenities, and community lifestyle offerings
Managing leads, follow-ups, and appointment scheduling
Processing applications and lease paperwork
Maintaining a polished leasing office and model units
Providing exceptional customer service to prospects and residents
Supporting occupancy and leasing goals
Ideal Candidate:
2+ years of apartment leasing experience
Strong preference for 55+ or senior community experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and professional
Comfortable working with mature adults and families
Reliable and self-motivated
