Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the leasing process from lead generation through lease execution and move-in, while maintaining positive relationships with prospective and current residents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting & Marketing

-Actively generate leads through online listings, community outreach, networking, and promotional events.

-Market available properties using digital platforms and traditional advertising methods.

2. Property Tours

-Conduct professional tours of available units for prospective tenants.

-Highlight key features, amenities, and respond to inquiries effectively.

3. Applicant Screening

-Review and process rental applications.

-Verify credit history, employment/income, and references to ensure eligibility.

4. Lease Administration & Move-In/Move-Out

-Prepare and execute lease agreements.

-Collect security deposits and coordinate move-in/move-out procedures.

-Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed accurately.

5. Tenant Relations

-Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries and concerns.

-Coordinate with maintenance and property management to resolve issues promptly.

-Foster a positive and professional community environment.

6. Administrative Duties

-Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in property management software.

-Track leasing activity, resident data, and unit availability.

7. Market Awareness

-Stay informed about local rental trends and competitor offerings.

-Make recommendations on pricing strategies and marketing approaches based on market analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in leasing, property management, or a related field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospects and residents.

Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of closing leases.

Highly organized and detail-oriented to manage documents and application processes efficiently.

Solid understanding of local rental markets, fair housing laws, and lease agreements.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet performance goals.
