Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the cash register while also ensuring that our store shelves are well-stocked and organized. Cashiers often help with multiple tasks beyond just operating the register.
Responsibilities
Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving any issues.
Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed neatly and attractively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization; wiping down surfaces and sanitizing as needed
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Opening and closing duties; balancing the register at the start and end of a shift, locking up or prepping for opening or closing as assigned.
Helping with deliveries; unloading and organizing incoming shipments
Skills
Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
Strong supervisory skills to guide team efforts when necessary.
Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Previous retail sales experience is preferred, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Experience using cash registers or POS systems for efficient transaction processing.

Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour
