Weekend and holiday availability is a must
Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs
Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours
Able to climb ladders and move efficiently around the store
Openings available for part-time roles
Hours of availability: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 9:15 AM – 6:15 PM
What You’ll Be Doing As a Hardware Store Associate, you’ll be a key part of our team, helping customers and keeping the store running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
Customer Support
Greet and assist customers with product selection
Offer knowledgeable advice on tools, materials, and DIY projects
Operate the register
Address customer concerns
Inventory & Merchandising
Stock shelves and maintain organized displays
Receive, unpack, and sort deliveries
Ensure inventory accuracy and product quality
Specialty Services
Mix paint
Cut keys
Help troubleshoot basic tool issues
Store Maintenance
Keep aisles clean, safe, and well-organized
Rotate stock and check expiration dates
Follow safety procedures and report concerns
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent communication and people skills
Basic understanding of tools and home improvement
Comfortable working independently and with a team
Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer tasks
Physically fit for lifting, bending, and standing
Previous retail or hardware experience is helpful but not required
