Suretechs is looking for a driven, experienced, and dependable technician/programmer to join us. The ideal candidate will work as one of our main A/V integrators/programmers installing integrated systems, trouble shooting and servicing existing systems. He or she must exhibit excellent workmanship and a positive attitude with clients and coworkers.
Requirements:
2-3 years experience with Home Theater Systems, Security & Surveillance Systems, Lutron, Home Automation (Control4 and/or Savant)
Lighting Systems experience with Lutron, Control4
Basic equipment configuration (receivers, tvs)
Control4 (Installation and programming)
Savant (Installation and programming)
URC (installation and programing)
Be willing to prewire and retrofit low voltage cabling
Termination of cabling (Cat5/6, Coax, BnC, Fiber, XLR)
Troubleshooting and setup of Audio, Video, and IP networks
Satellite, Cable, and Phone Distribution Systems
Installation of structured cabling systems
Read and interpret all floorplans, drawings, and specifications
Installation of surveillance cameras and access control systems
Performs system testing and troubleshooting as required
Proactively oversee and lead jobsite organization and basic housekeeping maintenance (basic project management)
Ability to provide documentation on jobs, customer correspondence, etc
Able to work both independently and with a team
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Programming experience necessary
Clean driving record necessary
Professional appearance and able to communicate articulately internally and with customers
